Creator Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to ensure your products are approved quickly and provide the best experience for buyers.
Content Quality
High resolution
Submit content at 1080p minimum. 4K is preferred and performs better in sales.
Seamless loops
Video loops must transition smoothly. Test playback on loop before submitting.
Industry-standard codecs
Use HAP, H.264, H.265, ProRes, or DXV. These are the most compatible with VJ software.
Accurate metadata
Fill in resolution, codec, FPS, duration, and relevant tags. This helps buyers find your content.
Preview Requirements
Preview video required
Every product must include a preview video (MP4, max 50MB). This is what buyers see before purchasing.
Thumbnail image
Add an eye-catching thumbnail (16:9, JPG/PNG). This appears in the product grid.
Screenshots (optional)
Up to 6 screenshots to showcase different frames or variations. Strongly recommended.
Third-Party Software Content
You are welcome to sell presets, interfaces, show files, scripts, and configurations designed for third-party software. This includes Resolume UI interfaces, GrandMA show profiles, Smode scripts, TouchDesigner components, and similar user-created content.
You must be the original author
Only sell content you personally created. Do not redistribute default presets, factory content, or other creators' work.
No bundled software
Your product must not include the third-party software itself, its installer, runtime libraries, or any proprietary code.
Clearly state compatibility
In your product description, specify which software and version your product is compatible with (e.g., "Compatible with Resolume Arena 7+").
No trademark misuse
Do not use third-party logos as your thumbnail or imply official endorsement. Use software names only for compatibility identification.
Prohibited Content
Content you don't own or don't have rights to distribute
AI-generated content presented as hand-crafted (must be labeled)
Hateful, violent, or sexually explicit material
Malware, obfuscated code, or anything that could harm the buyer's system
Duplicate or near-duplicate submissions from the same product with trivial changes
Third-party software, installers, cracked software, or proprietary code you do not own
Factory/default presets shipped with third-party software repackaged as your own work
Pricing
You set your own price. There is no minimum or maximum.
VisualStore takes a 15% platform commission on each sale. You receive 85%.
Payouts are processed automatically via Stripe Connect to your linked bank account.
You can offer discounts by setting an original price alongside a discounted price.
Review Process
Every product submission is reviewed by our team before going live.
Reviews typically take 24-48 hours.
You'll receive an email notification when your product is approved or if changes are needed.
If rejected, you'll receive a reason and can resubmit after making corrections.
